Jeremy L. Webb is an associate with Shafer & Welch, L.C. Jeremy joined the firm in the fall of 2007 assisting with existing cases. He was named associate at the firm, formerly Shafer Law Office, L.C., in September 2008.

Born and raised in Weston, Missouri, Jeremy was fortunate to grow up with all but a few of his extended family members in the surrounding area. Raised in a rural setting and surrounded by a family of farmers and blue collar workers, Jeremy was taught the value of honesty, integrity and hard work from an early age.

Jeremy attended West Platte High School in Weston, Missouri where he was active in sports, numerous extracurricular activities and service throughout the community. Jeremy then attended William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri where he received his undergraduate degree in psychology. After graduating from college, Jeremy moved to St. Louis, Missouri to pursue his law degree and graduated from the Saint Louis University School of Law.

While attending Saint Louis University, Jeremy developed his passion for helping individuals. Through his work at the Saint Louis University In-House Legal Clinic Jeremy had an opportunity to provide legal counsel to indigent clients in a multitude of cases involving abused children, military veterans’ benefits, and divorces. While working in the Legal Clinic, Jeremy was part of a successful lawsuit against the State of Missouri which acted to reinstate eyeglass benefits for over 100,000 citizens. Jeremy continued his experience in an internship position with the Jackson County, Missouri Public Defender’s Office where he took part in the representation of indigent clients in cases ranging from driving while intoxicated to jury trials for first and second degree murder.

Jeremy and his wife Julie reside in Platte City, Missouri. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting and enjoying the outdoors whenever he has a chance.

Jeremy was involved in a near fatal motor vehicle accident shortly after graduating from high school which cut short a college football career but has helped him to appreciate and to relate to the positions that many accident victims/clients find themselves in. Jeremy’s practice includes the areas of:

  • Traffic matters including Driving While Intoxicated offenses
